Tuppence Middleton ("Abby") returns to her Niagara Falls family home following the death of her mother, and together with sister "Laure" (Hannah Gross) has to dispose of her assets - including their motel. Once there, she starts getting flashbacks of a memory (real or imagined, we do not yet know) in which she is the witness to a kidnapping. What ensues now is a creatively crafted psychological thriller that though quite interesting, initially, manages quite successfully to tie itself up in too many knots. Middleton is decent enough, but the plot so convoluted and meandering that the focus and pace of the story serves to distract us from what might have been an engaging thriller and by mid way through I really couldn't have cared less.
