Ugly old Irish hag horror with Lauren Holly and Lance Henriksen
A professor (Lauren Holly) and her two student-assistants (Todd Haberkorn & Leanne Cochran) uncover an Irish box from the 12th century, which unleashes a banshee, a wicked spirit that haunts & slays those who hear its piercing screech. Lance Henriksen plays a nutjob former professor who might know the secret to stopping the legendary creature.
Whilst Scream of the Banshee (2011) is limited by its budget, its pretty haunting and chilling TV horror. The banshee is effective in its hideous manifestations.
