An independent college lass (Hermione Corfield) on her way to a job interview in DC is beset by rustic thugs in the hills of western Kentucky (Micah Hauptman & Daniel R. Hill). Will she make it out alive? Sean O'Bryan plays the sheriff while Jay Paulson is on hand as a hick who may or may not help her. Jeremy Glazer appears as the deputy.
Rust Creek (2018) is a life-or-death backwoods adventure/crime/thriller in the tradition of "Deliverance" (1972) and "Black Rock" (2012) mixed with I Walk the Line (1970) (not to be confused with the 2005 Johnny Cash biopic).
