Much as I want to like "Lazarus" I don't.
This is a classic case of wasted potential. A strong cast, a potentially engaging story, with a supernatural tie in. It could have worked.
Regrettably, the handling and characterisations are badly "off".
Firstly this series constantly jumps from scene to scene, leaving a discordant, restless vibe, that never goes away.As a viewer I found it next to impossible to focus and settle into a comfortable rhythm, that would have allowed me to appreciate the unfolding story.
Annoying characterisations make things even worse. The main character "Laz", feels more like a psychiatric patient, than a psychiatrist. He's literally all over the map, uttering an incessant series of outbursts, that fee...
