Cashero is a vibrant, clever, and refreshingly original superhero series that cleverly inverts the genre's usual power fantasy. Instead of super-strength or flight, our hero, Kang Soo, possesses a power born directly from South Korea's modern reality: his physical abilities scale in direct proportion to the amount of cold, hard cash in his bank account. This ingenious premise fuels a programme that is as much a sharp socio-economic satire as it is an exciting action-comedy, making for one of the most uniquely entertaining entries in the genre in years.

Cashero combines cash and hero. Its also known as Cashman in Spanish-speaking countries and as Cash Hero (現金英雄) in Chinese characters. Kang Sang-woong inherits a power from his fatherthe more cash he holds, the stronger he becomes, but the money disappears when he uses it. A regular civil servant saving for marriage and a home, he struggles between real life and being a hero while fighting a criminal organization that seeks to steal his powers.
