Time Cut tries to blend nostalgic 2000s vibes with a modern horror twist, but it just ends up feeling confused about its own identity. The plot takes too long to get going, and once it does, the execution is all over the place. It feels like it was aiming for a Scream or Totally Killer kind of self-aware horror, but the writing doesn't have the sharpness to pull it off. The directing is serviceable but uninspired, and the cinematography doesnt do much to elevate the experience. Its visually competent, but nothing stands out as particularly creative or memorable.
