Parasite in Love, adapted from Koi Suru Kiseichu by Sugaru Miaki, delivers a unique blend of psychological drama and romance through the concept of mental illness caused by parasites. Strong performances from Nana Komatsu and Kento Hayashi effectively bring to life characters struggling with deep phobias, supported by well-executed visuals, music, and CGI. Although there are minor inconsistencies in character behavior, particularly concerning their phobias, the film remains compelling and emotionally resonantideal for those drawn to offbeat romantic tales with a hint of fantasy.
