Geronimo1967
I wonder if, when Ben Cross walked onto the set here for the first time, he considered that as career nadirs go, this is almost as bad as Jeffrey Hunter's. No more "Chariots of Fire" (1981) just the other kind of chariot that swings low - and very low at that. This time, our sex-pest alien is dying. It falls to scientist "Tom" (Cross) to race to Mexico to start injecting her (his niece!!) with life-preserving drugs. Of course, though, those drugs trigger in "Miranda" (Helena Mattsson) her far more visceral instincts and with carnage ensuing it's a race against time to arrest the violent mating season. The whole thing is poor: the writing, the visual effects and the story could all have be cobbled together by some drama students after a day ...
