    Men of Honor is one of those films that hits hard with its message, yet somehow got a mixed reception from critics who called it too conventional. But honestly, whats wrong with a movie sticking to a classic, inspiring formula when its done right? The story of Carl Brashear, played by Cuba Gooding Jr., is all about perseverance, dignity, and refusing to let others define your worth. Robert De Niro, as the tough and unpredictable Master Chief Billy Sunday, brings an intensity that elevates every scene he's in.
