This series didnt quite come together for me. I thought the acting was pretty good and the story was okay in most places. But it seems like this subject matter should be absolutely riveting, and it fell short. I think it was diluted somewhat by the subplot involving the trial concerning the violent bank robbery. Shouldnt that be a different series of its own? And then there was the subplot of a missing child. Perhaps it took on a bit too much and should have narrowed its scope. It is watchable so I wont discourage you from watching it, but in order to really enjoy a subtitled film, I think I need a tighter storyline.
