In a way I liked this iteration of the Bosch franchise better than the original, and I am not even sure why. Perhaps because it isnt juggling quite so many storylines and carrying them all on through episodes and even through the seasons. But of course I liked the original quite a lot, so that isnt a criticism. Heck, they even brought Crate and Barrel into the show, who they stole the show at times the first time around.
I thought they tried too hard to make the assassin look totally methodical, focused and almost inhuman, as if that were a requirement for the job or that they felt they needed to in order to show a woman could do that grim and deadly work.
