I wondered why this series has such a low rating and now I know. The writing is mediocre, the voice acting is... I don't want to complain about Hayley Atwell and the rest of the cast but something ain't right, and... well to be honest, I can live with the animation.
The worst thing about this is that it's kinda boring, which is insulting to such a great Chinese myth. This is the first time I'm seeing the Nu'wa mythology in media and I'm disappointed it wasn't done better. Nu'wa is the goddess of creation, and yes, her mythology predates the Jesus myth.
