Writing:
Dollface is written, objectively, very well. The plot twist actually makes sense in the context of the show and is well layered under a very dense plot, and the characters all have emotion, are interesting and even fairly likeable. Aega's struggle with her powers, Sofi's depression and Armani's care for her brother were all woven so excellently into the overarching plotline of the show, which only takes place in one primal location. However, this only makes the show seem very claustrophobic, which is what the writers were going for.
