Biography

Yorlene Bernido is a first-generation Filipino immigrant based on the unceded, traditional territories of the xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations in Vancouver. She was nominated for Best Supporting Performer in a Play at the Broadway World Vancouver Awards for her role as Nika in Grandma. Gangsta. Guerrilla. (Ruby Slippers Theatre).
