Kwame Phillips is an anthropologist and filmmaker, specializing in visual and sensory media production, ethnographic documentary, socio-cultural anthropology, material culture and soundscapes. His work is multidisciplinary and broadly focuses on resilience, race, social justice and Diaspora studies. Kwame received his PhD in Anthropology and Film and Media Studies from Emory University in 2014.
