Mostafa Gerbeii

Biography

Mostafa Gerbeii is an Egyptian director and screenwriter based in Cairo. He began his career in screenwriting in 2015 and works across cinema, television, and advertising. Gerbeii directed his first short film, Au Revoir! (2020), and has since directed multiple films that premiered at international film festivals. In 2025, his film Sky Is Falling premiered at the Cairo International Film Festival, where it won the Silver Tower Award for Best Film.
