Rubin's patriotism has led him to serve 10 honorable active duty years as a member of the United States Navy Special Forces, and 3 years in the U.S. Navy Reserves. He recently graduated from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) School of Theater, where he received a Master of Fine Arts in Acting. Rubin was born in Culver City, CA after his parents migrated from Jalisco, Mexico at a young age.
