Biography

Juan Carlos Palazuelos Covarrubias, born in Culiacan, Sinaloa, is a Mexican Filmmaker. He is a graduate of the Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Media and Filmmaking at Centro de Arte Audiovisual CAAV in Guadalajara, Jalisco. He is the co-writer and co-director (alongside Ximena Flores Fregoso) of the short film “Beyond the Waves: The Ballad of Alba”, starring Ariel Award-winning actress Mayra Batalla and Stana Carrillo, and featuring the voice of legendary actress Angélica Aragón.
