Ryosuke Handa is the author of many books, also active as a painting artist,film director. Alicematonika (2012) is a debut short film. His first feature film Forest Island (2022) received numerous awards at international film festivals. Passacaglia (2023) is Handa's latest feature film which draws inspiration from literary figures like T.S. Eliot, Lewis Carroll. He is now making a new feature film which will come out this year.
