Jay Borilla is a 3rd year student filmmaker from the UP Film Institute of UP Diliman. Born on May 20, 2003 under a conservative and fanatically religious household, he aims to leverage filmmaking to break free from the stifling conditions of his upbringing and create films that are as liberated as how he aspires himself, and other suppressed individuals and communities, to be.
