Biography

Alejandro Víctor Ibañez, a retired Marine and Malvinas war veteran, was born in Godoy Cruz, Mendoza, on 13 March 1964. From an early age, his life was linked to the sea, as his family settled in Mar del Plata when he was just a baby. His older brother, Carlos Walter Ibañez, also an infant and a veteran of the Malvinas War, played a crucial role on Isla Borbón during that historic conflict. On a personal level, Victor has been married to María Andrea for forty years.
