Biography

Seamus Gibney is a writer, actor, director, and composer based in Calgary, Alberta. In 2019, Seamus created the mockumentary web series "Finger Lickin the SHOW" (2019–2024), a two-season, six-episode project that follows fictionalized versions of Seamus and his friend Travis on their quest for YouTube fame. The series serves as a loose tribute to Nirvanna the Band the Show, making Finger Lickin—in Seamus’s words—“a parody of a parody,” both ironic and poetic in its conception.
