Biography

Alexandre Royal Pelletier, also known as Alex Royal, is a French-Canadian filmmaker and writer. He grew up in Montreal and studied in school at École Eulalie-Durocher while studying cinema at the College de Rosemont. He's best known for his debut short film, Balance, which he filmed in the same bathroom location as Ari Aster's Beau is Afraid, whom he got to meet after filming was completed.
