Thisura Jayathilaka

Biography

Born on December 4, 1997, Thisura is the only child of Nimali Herath, a Samurdhi Bank manager, and the late Chandrananda Jayathilaka, a lieutenant colonel in the Sri Lankan Army. He began his career in 2018, when he took on the lead role in a short film directed by a friend. Thisura is also one of the founding members of WUF (Weekend Underground Filmmakers), a production team based in Sri Lanka, which was founded in 2024.
