Róisín Burns

Biography

English by birth, Róisín Burns grew up in Liverpool, lulled by the rhythm of Merseybeat, the songs of football fans and the waves of the Irish Sea. It was while she was at Paris 1 that she made Passing Tides, a short documentary pre-bought by France 3 in partnership with Premiers Plans. The film was shown at several festivals in France and abroad. In 2021, she joined the screenwriting workshop at La Fémis, where she began writing her first feature.
