Elisabeth Joy is an American writer, director, producer, actress and dancer best known for her performances in films "Dovey's Promise" and "RATS!". She grew up in the Midwest. She is a former US Army officer having served in Afghanistan and Iraq as a chinook helicopter pilot with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). She then flew black hawk helicopters and served as the Alamo Dustoff Aero-medical Evacuation commander with the Texas Army National Guard.
