Marie France Louis is originally from Carrefour, Haiti. At a very young age, she joined a choir at her church. She got involved with theatre for the first time in high school, where she fell in love with French classic literature. She then wrote and directed three stage plays in high school about the Haitian revolution. In university, she completed a degree in industrial engineering one year early, with a minor in economic science, from University Quisqueya.
