Mikhail Roman was an Egyptian playwright. He was born and died in Cairo, where he received his education until he graduated from the Faculty of Science at Cairo University in 1947. He began his professional life as a teacher at the Higher Industrial Institute in Shebin El-Kom. Because he was fluent in the English language, he translated many international plays from English for radio and television. He also began writing short stories and literary articles.
