Luis Quijano

Biography

Luis Quijano is a Mexican director, producer, and screenwriter from Mérida, Yucatán. Since 2017, he has created music videos, web series, commercials, short films, and feature films in Mexico and the United States. In 2023, he founded Balché Films, a production company focused on sociocultural stories within the horror and fantasy genres. His work has been showcased internationally, including at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Los Angeles as part of In Focus: Latinx Cinema.
