In 2014 Sofía entered the film school Centro Universitario de Estudios Cinematográficos (currently Escuela Nacional de Artes Cinematográficas). In 2012 she attended the "Screenwriters Summit" taught by Syd Field, Michael Hauge, Linda Seger and John Truby. In 2016 she participated in the "Initial Audiovisual Production Workshop" at CSUN, Northridge, California.
