Biography

Mads K. Baekkevold is an interdisciplinary Norwegian filmmaker with a body of work spanning horror, documentaries, animation, commercials, and more. His career began in Singapore, where he spent nearly a decade working in the Southeast Asian film industry. After Singapore he relocated to Amsterdam, where he worked as Senior Creative and Director at the creative agency Monks. He's currently based in the Pacific Northwest, working as a freelance director, editor, and writer, represented by Vancouver's Wallop Film.
