Aimee Miles (Barile) was born in Redwood City, California. She first appeared on stage at the age of eight in a production of the musical Oliver! She holds a BA in Theatre and Latin American Studies from Wesleyan University in Connecticut, where she appeared regularly in theatrical and musical performances, films, concerts. Her inspirational semester abroad in Santiago, Chile solidified her Spanish fluency, and led her to write a senior thesis on Latin American theater under military dictatorships.
