Yukio Kitazawa

Biography

Yukio Kitazawa is a veteran Pink Eiga director. He got his start while he was a university student working as an assistant director on legendary film directors Koji Wakamatsu and Satoru Kobayashi’s films. Yukio Kitazawa made his directing debut in 1978 with the Pink Eiga production, “Vagabond Sex.” For this work, he won the Best New Director Award at the Zoom Up Film Festival. Since then, he has worked in various filmmaking formats and genres including Pink Eiga, Nikkatsu Roman Porno, direct-to-video productions, as well as TV commercial.
