Mac Smith was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, and studied film at the University of Iowa and USC. Both music and film have had a strong presence in his life from a young age, and his musical performance talents took him on tour across the United States. He’s made sonic contributions to over 100 films, has been nominated for 16 Golden Reel awards, and most recently, Mac was honoured with an Emmy® Award for Outstanding Sound Editing For A Limited Or Anthology Series, Movie, Or Special for his contribution to Marvel’s Moon Knight.
