    Shares ground with the original Friday the 13th as the only two movies in this 12 film long franchise that play the killer as a mystery. A lot of people don't like that, but just personally, they both work a hundred percent for me.

    Final rating:½ - I really liked it. Would strongly recommend you give it your time.

    Heavily criticized, but one of the most entertaining and re-watchable installments

    I find the "Friday the 13th" flicks appealing because they typically involve young adults in a fun camp-type environment in the woods; the presence of a lunatic killer just adds an air of danger and excitement. Although this fourth sequel in the series is maligned by many, it's the installment that turned me on to the long-running franchise. Say what you will but A New Beginning ( aka Part V), is one of the most entertaining and re-watchable segments.
