Monster Portal 2022, what happens when you have a portal connected to a lovecraftian nightmare? Well you get this. It's just such a kickass concept! I barely see lovecraft type monsters get any love let alone a movie where a ton appear!
Too bad the human characters are so boringggg! The dialogue is bad too, unlike good kaiju movies like Godzilla or king kong which have great human characters or at least interesting. But these are flat out boring! The dad is the most interesting character to be honest. I swear it was so boring the first half that I was watching it and I still don't know wtf is happening and not in some crazy David Lynch way where it's great and grows on you, no it's just boring.
