Universal Classic Monsters (also known as Universal Monsters and Universal Studios Monsters) is a media franchise based on a series of horror films primarily produced by Universal Pictures from the 1930s to the 1950s. (Including some of the remakes, Dark Universe, etc.)

After taking last year off without doing a film challenge (and merely watching a little over 300 films), I challenged myself this year once again to watch as many films as possible . . . and here they be.

Screen Gems' 1957 television package which first released to television the classic Universal horror films (mostly) which kick-started the "Monster Craze": "52 of Universal's most spine-tingling, full-length feature films for first-run television". The impact of this first release to television of these classic Universal monsters can hardly be overstated in its importance to the subsequent "horror boom" period. Here are the films in the order they appeared in the original SHOCK! pressbook.
