Whilst working his way through an entire pack of cigarettes, a man sits at a corner table in a café and ponders "what is love?". What follows is a series of romantic (and not so) scenarios in which people spend time together, search online for their ideal partner, imagine what life might be like were things different - and all augmented by the general chatter and conversation taking place around him. Some of that chatter is quite profound, some of it - well let's just say there's plenty of hot air in there, too - though that's not restricted to the physical venue: there's plenty of vacuous phone chat included too.
