    Decent watch, probably won't watch again, and can't recommend unless you just wanted a "body swap" musical.

    While the musical part of the musical is fun and well performed, I didn't realize I was going to watch a musical unless (basically) seconds before I clicked play. I was wondering why Disney rebooted this title, but it's clear that this is it's own thing that happens to share the title because it's under the same company.

    The "magical" hourglass, though an awkward prop, is a much better magic medium than a "cookie", and "The Hunt" is a good enough of an idea that they could have made a entire movie based on that, without anything else and it has potential to be a best seller.     I don't even know what to say... I somehow kinda liked it.

    I can understand that 1.7 average rating (ouch!) but at the same time I truly didn't even mind this 2018 remake/adaptation of Mary Rodgers' 1972 novel. This incarnation of 'Freaky Friday' switches the story into a musical. My brain was constantly telling me throughout that events onscreen were bad and yet I evidently hold nothing against it - if anything the opposite, to be honest. I'm just as surprised as you!

    Cozi Zuehlsdorff and Heidi Blickenstaff are actually enjoyable in the lead roles and, I'm sorry, but "At Last It's Me" is a lowkey bop. Of course it's a million miles away from being anything close to perfect but for what it is - a made-for-television Disney Channel tee...
