Dumped by his girlfriend Anna because he's too short, Ruggero keeps phoning her, but the answer is always the same, no matter what time of day: "Anna is asleep right now", her mother says. He doesn't give up and, along with his friend Michele, he ventures in the Rome projects where she lives, battling the violent Riccio brothers, Anna's new boyfriend(s)
