    As I started to watch "The Convent", I initially thought: oh here we go again, a period piece (I tend to hate those) and probably another really bad religious Horror movie. And not even ten minutes in, I loved every minute of it. My eyes were glued to the screen. The atmosphere totally carried me away. The acting was phenomenal, the direction by Paul Hyett as well. The score was on point, the costumes looked good. But most important were the effects to me. Sure, there was obviously CGI involved and to some of you this might just look silly. But I totally dug that look. The glowing eyes made this so cool, that I really can't say anything bad about this entire film.
