Alunauwie
nterchange blends Southeast Asian mysticism with urban noir, presenting a visually intriguing story inspired by Kalimantan tribal myths and supported by strong performances from a cross-national cast, including Nicholas Saputra and Prisia Nasution. While its cinematography, sound design, and atmosphere are commendable, the narrative leaves many questions unansweredsuch as character motivations, mythological logic, and inconsistent language usewhich slightly weakens its impact. Despite its flaws, the film remains a bold and artistic attempt at merging folklore with crime thriller, and holds promise with deeper refinement.
