Cute sequel, but not as good as the original movie
God (George Burns) manifests to a little girl in Los Angeles (Louanne) whose well-to-do parents are separated (Suzanne Pleshette & David Birney). It appears the LORD wants to use her for advertising.
Oh, God! Book II (1980) lacks the novelty of the original 1977 film and is underwhelming, marred by a sitcomy vibe, but its also cute and kinda heartwarming. Its more of a drama with amusing touches than a comedy. In other words, what would REALLY happen if the Creator started appearing to a girl in Los Angeles?
