"Mother was the loveliest woman in the world". "Mother wanted everything to be lovely". Using a series of embryonic lighting techniques, a lively piano-based score and a series of not altogether coherent mini-sketches, we are presented with what appear to be memories of a couple, of them falling in love, of her widowhood and then more courting. She looks lovingly from her window, pining for what she had, what she wants? She's even offered a bribe in the form of some stockings! It's impossible to say just what this is about in any traditional sense, and it's a surprisingly pace-free affair for the most of it's rather abstract existence which appears to emanate from the naive and/or innocent mind of our unspoken narrator.
