Did you know that a bombers engine has 8,000 parts and is put together in 48 hours before being tested for another seven? No, me neither, but thats the kind is information this short propaganda feature distils as we use a planes urgent journey to attack a submarine to take us through some of the the processes involved in its production. The narrator does his best, but this just has the look of a recruitment film coupled with some actuality of a wartime bombing raid thats edited together to make it look authentic. It had a job to do, confirming to those watching that their pilots had the best equipment available and that those pilots were the best too, but thats about the height of it.
