Dr. Fortuna, a cunning charlatan, makes a living selling miracle potions with the help of Brine Adrenaline, a dazzling circus performer, and Croocked, an outcast branded as a freak. When a public demonstration of his Buona Fortuna Elixir takes a dark turn, Croocked suffers harsh punishment for a minor misstep. Pushed to their limits, siblings Brine and Croocked plot a daring escape from the clutches of the terrible Dr. Fortuna.
