An experimental yet very accessible short film. In only four minutes we found ourselves captivated in a wordless narration where sound and image perfectly blend by giving us some sort of surreal universe. Starting with a smooth atmospheric ambiance the viewer then dives into a psychedelic world rhythmically animated by a graphic overload. The obnoxious presence of the main character really sticks to the mind even after the end of the movie, making you question your own surroundings. To sum it up: Purple Leone is a psychological endavour with a 1984 feel in an overly consuming society.
