Caravan

The poetic roadmovie Caravan tells the story of 45 yo Ester, who no longer wants to be just a mother to a son with an intellectual disability. She steals an old caravan, and they embark on a journey through Italy, where Ester dares to want more from life.

A devoted single mother dreams of a solo vacation in Italy at her friend's house, but when arrangements collapse, she must bring along her disabled teenage son on what was meant to be her private escape.
