Such a solid debut! Never thought Id end up loving Reza Rahadians first feature this much. Its quiet, slow, minimal barely says a word but speaks straight to the heart. At first, I thought itd just revolve around the Kopi Pangku phenomenon along the Pantura highway, but it turns out to be so much more. Its also about a mothers fight for life shown through Sartika, a single mom struggling to protect the baby inside her.
And trust me, even with the slow pacing, you wont get bored for a second. The visuals alone will spoil you simple yet grand, with beautiful color grading. Every shot isnt just pretty to look at, it feels something it adds weight, emotion, and depth.
