Người Về đồng Cói is considered the first film directed by a woman in the history of Vietnamese cinema. The brave, determined spirit of sacrifice and bravery in battle that he had trained on the frontline could not help Lê Văn; he only knew how to deal with the enemy, but did not know how to treat his neighbors, comrades, and family.
